Purely depends on your visa status..if you are green card citizen and has full time..you can spend up to 550,000$ in flower mound, grapevine-euless border area. 

Reason I chose these places is because they are close to airport and in middle of forth worth , Dallas and frisco..for example

 

Health clients are in fort worth

Retail insurance business are in Richardson 

Toyota ,and many other big companies in Plano.

 

Verizon and technology companies in Irving

So..your commute will be 30-40 minutes if you take home there..if you pick frisco and mckinney it will be far for your work if you have to travel Dallas or foetworth

Coming to price..the same home used to cost 250,000-300,000$ back in 2010-2012..so if real estate falls in dallas -fortworth that is true price of home..

 

All real estate money comes from chunkiest , Desi's and pakis working full time..

I don’t see real estate dropping in near future it will go up in the next few years
