Pant/Shirt stitching for 2 or 3 sizes more so that I don't outgrow it in an year. Hand me down cycle.

Avon ani oka old extinct model cycle till 10th Class.

No pocket money. But, regarding studies, never lacked anything. Always had all the latest books and access to several journals etc. Perks of being the son of a teacher, I guess.

TVS champ lo family mottam povadam, Rojuki 25 KMs cycle tokkadam.. inka chala memories. Daily nanna college nunchi rangane, kalisi cricket adukovadam, eppudaina amma sarukulu temmani, oka rupayi migilithe danni gandhi lekka cheyyadam, next day school daggara sunflower seeds, mango or tamarind candy konnukoni tinadam, Monthly once amma chese mirchi bajjilu.. Inka chala memories. Money was not sufficient, but, happiness unlimited anipistundi whenever, I look back. Never used to go eat out, parties anna maate ledu. kotta battalu konukkovadam ante rare. I had to wait for 5 years to buy a new cycle. School kuda almost government school lantide. 

Avi kastalu ani anipinchevi kadhu. Kaani, migita vallu chesevi manam cheyyalekapotunnam ani oka badha undedi. But, most of those pending korikalu nenu job cheyyadam modalu pettina ventane teerchesukunna. So, no worries. And, it helped that both my sister and I started working before my dad turned 50 and by then, my dad also started getting AICTE scales. So, sudden ga we were able to afford all that we lacked as kids.

ma nanna used to work as an assistant in a dairy. I used to watch my classmates buy something at lunch like, mango slices, pulla ice etc, my family couldn't afford 50 P as pocket money... one day there was an excursion planned by the school management to take us to Vizag tour (Araku etc) trip cost was around 350 rupees. 350 rs was huge amount for us... I fought with my father like anything to send me to the trip... some how I managed to convince him and was succeeded... later my Mother told that my Father took a hand loan from his friend and it took 3 months to pay it back...his Salary at that time was 1800 rs... because of immaturity it was nothing to me... but now I feel very bad/sad and can't forget and forgive my self...never thanked him for his hard work...now its not possible even if I want to thank him...unsung hero in every child's life...!

9th class daaka knicker (shorts) ye undevi, no pants. Pants kuttadaniki ayithe ekkuva cloth kavali. So only Knickers. also whatever is left off from the cloth used to stich my dad's pants, is used for my knickers..nenu pants kavali ante, tittevallu chaduvukora, ee sokulu annee enduku ani 

9 th lo konchem odd gaa undedi..one day my tuition teacher told (I was town topper so most of the teachers used to like me) my dad when they met some where, from then onwards my parents got me pants..
