I think the real reason is Movie industry is established in Hyderabad, and every artist/technician is living in Hyderabad, who are generating additional income and taxes for Telangana.

What people is AP are getting is kobbari chippa(over hyped movies) with exorbitant ticket prices for common man.

the film industry itself is stuck in old distributor/exhibitor model, and blaming the govt for stirring its pot.

fcuking losers these film wallahs. They expect the society to fund their bs movies and their high flying lifestyle.

Jagan should stop bothering, and allow piracy in AP without any check. invite TamilRockers to AP and provide a safe haven for them. hehe..

I support Nani , private industry can price all they want.

If the audience is willing to pay , govt should leave th alone.  Just collect tax on it

government should not be involved in business

These movies are coming from outside the state and entertainment tax is designated as a revenue source for states. AP can impose more than 100% as entertainment tax if it wants. How can the state not be a stake holder if you look at it from that stand point?

the market is rigged, duh!

govt doesn't have to buy the movie rights.. they can simply ban the movie from being screened.

anyway why is it big heros (not that nani is a big hero) are the ones who are crying about ticket prices, and not producers? lol. are these heros co-producing their films?

the movie industry is a fcuked up place. Its perfectly fine to destroy it and have something better come up in its place. But dont worry, the powers that be wont allow to destroy the film industry. because even if SandraBob got only 23 mlas, he has the institutional power behind him. The sick institutions that keep India poor and Indians needy.

I don't understand how is it effecting the life of the people. Private industries work on demand and supply methodology. How does it matter who is wrong or right in a private industry. Who are you to destroy someone in a democratic society.

tana produce thane ammukone right farmerki ledu... middle men valla tomato price 1rs/kg testhe pattinchukoru... prathi rainy season people kottukupothe pattinchukoru... food motham aduleterated pattinchukoru.. most polluted cities in the world are in India pattinchukoru... women safety pattinchukoru... law and order pattinchukoru...

but movie industry prices matram kavali.... sare same way why not do it with all other private industries like hospitals, restaurants, transportation, malls etc...

True ,  Telangana film industry is a leech on AP state.

perhaps govt should give incentives to movies that are filmed inside the state. Like lower taxes , higher ticket prices , etc

So can we do the same thing for the cars, mobiles and other products that are brought into the state???
