Calling all contracting guys

@csrcsr @Sucker planning to move into contracting. Need your suggestion 

current job full time 130k and 16k bonus and benefits. No tension job. But no growth. Doing same from past 14 years. Running in auto pilot mode..

looking for contracting role. Expecting 120 per hour. Do you think it’s worth to move?

any idea how much it cost for medical insurance for family of 4?

Which state are you in? If you are in less taxable state with that pay, stay where you are.

contractinh lo 120 née chethiki ravadam almost impossible. Be reasonable with expectations, until 100 in your hand is achievable

120 per hour = 160K full time

Has own LLC. Payroll taxes 10 dollars poyina 110 vastadi kada

No tension job undi koncham drama kavali life lo antav...

In any scenario never consider contracting jobs..full time job bore kodithe get into another full time job that is more challenging...

If you are not GC holder, i really pity you for even getting the thought to consider contracting job..

family of 4 antunnav kada stability kuda alochinchuko...contracting job is like 2nd or 3rd grade job types and thats how folks see or treat you even though they dont directly say it on ur face
