Politics becomes decline and sees no progression when affected by nepotism. It undermines merit and enterprise, demotivates young talent from venturing into politics.

Most importantly,, politics which purpose is to serve the public now serves the interest of a family, people loose faith in any political process. In parliamentary democracy its most disastrous.

Nepotism anywhere is bad but in politics, entire nation suffers few self interested politicians act as parasite for the national resources.

Negative impacts on a society:

  1. Undermining Meritocracy: Nepotism involves favoring family or friends over more qualified individuals. When people are promoted or hired based on family ties rather than merit, it undermines the principles of meritocracy. This can lead to a situation where unqualified or less capable people are in positions of power or influence, which can negatively impact the performance of organizations or institutions, which creates ego in society and economy....
  2. Limited Opportunities: When nepotism is prevalent in a society, it can limit opportunities for those who are not part of the "in-group." This can create a sense of unfairness and discourage people from pursuing their goals or aspirations, leading to a lack of diversity and a lack of innovation. lack of innovation is major cause and no new work and lot of distrabance in society....
  3. Loss of Trust: Nepotism erodes trust in institutions and organizations, as people lose faith in the idea that decisions are made based on merit rather than personal connections. This can damage the reputation of businesses, governments, and other organizations, making it difficult to attract talented individuals or secure investment.
  4. Corruption: Nepotism can also lead to corruption, as people in positions of power may use their influence to benefit themselves or their family members. This can create a culture of corruption that undermines the rule of law and fosters a sense of impunity among those who are connected to people in power.
