Just wait 15 more days Kaka, March is going to be brutal. Fed Meeting tarvatha rakha kannere. Left and right peeki dobbuturru. The lay offs we are seeing is only in Tech Sector which is over hired in pandemic.

 

Ground Reality is, the normal main street and blue collar jobs which will impact 85% of economy. IT Jobs are jujube for economy.

House prices tagattam kastam bro as of now. It is going to take some time to cool down. Correction may be max to 5-10% and no more. The Housing market inventory tightening  now is due to Builders bankruptcy in 2008-2010.

 

Small builders all bisthar ettirru and Monopoly came into existence. All big builders are now, Toll, Van Metre, NV, etc

Papam Small builders ni tinesirru and Big real estate developers motham kottirru. Now these big guys have monopoly, charana korchupeetti roopai den***taru, to satisfy their books and dividends to Stocks.

 

Now big builders are greedy and want to squeeze everything, Small houses, Small lots, inferior build quality. Looks at house built around 20 years are more durable and quality rather than the houses built 5-6 years ago. Builders are maintaining exactly to the county standards and not a penny more.

Just my thoughts.

Especially they just keep squeezing the Supply.. they have room to do that as they made enough money from pasy few years

Easy ga 1M+ new buyers vastunnaru market loki every year..

Old homies who locked with peanut interest rates wont sell the homes.. and new homes supply still not upto speed due to Labor/Inflation and construction companies greed...

and we Fed still have last weapon... lowering interest rates

So housing collapse wont happen that easily emo unless huge huge job cuts/or economy super tank avthe thappa

I feel the same....okappudu local small builders baane undevallu, but because of high land/plot prices in major cities + high material costs and finding qualified contractors is getting tough for them to continue in this business. 

Also, now a days ppl are more interested to buy homes within a community rather than non-community areas...and ilanti community based areas lo big builders ke ekkuva scope untadi, rather than local smaller builders.
