PK with charishma can become an alternative. Ofcourse he needs to be among people and not sail on two ships - Movies antu. His biggest weakness is laziness and lack of vision. 
 

With this alliance, PK will have short term gains but pretty much sabotaged the future of party. Not even sure if the alliance gives him short term political benefits anymore. 
 

Nobody is expecting PK to win majority seats to be a CM this term. But he can assured JS doesn’t have any significance going forward whether TdP wins or YCp wins this term.

YCP doesn’t go anywhere. If TDP wins this term, they won’t go anywhere. PK will not be able to grow on his own and convince people that is an alternative. He will be a side actor and never be a main hero in AP political scenario. People will also witness 20 years of PK by then. He won’t be considered a serious contender even by his own fans at that time.

Might surprise but the best opportunity for PK is TDP losing this term. Go into people, fight against Govt, build party, give confidence to public that you have what it takes to lead the state. BJP will back him too. They need a face in the state. It will be impossible for YCP to win again in 2034.
