Congress out of power since 1994. YSR big rival… why would you think he would get ministry in 2004… YSR backed Kiran. Also, Kiran (YSR) worked towards Peddireddy’s defeat and vice versa despite being in Congress. 
 

Politically , Kiran has a big legacy. His father Amarnarha Reddy was a tall leader in Congress. Peddireddy is nothing compared to their legacy.

Group politics in Nagiri was the reason. Feedback I received is that ticket should have been given to other son of Muddu.

Jagan called all leaders and told them to work toward the victory of Roja before announcing seat. 

Adda emi kadhule… Reddyvari Chenga Reddy was a very strong leader there.
