Can Modi answer these questions? Ask YSRCP

Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Andhra Pradesh to address election rallies at Rajahmundry and Anakapalli, the YSR Congress party launched a tirade against the NDA partners, demanding answers on five critical state issues.

Over 120 YSRCP leaders, including Vishakapatnam MP candidate Botsa Jhansi and MLA Avanthi Srinivasa Rao, fired off tweets challenging Modi to address these pressing concerns.

Of course, the YSRCP sought to target Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, rather than Modi directly, by raising these questions on X.

“#MosagaduBabu aka @ncbn, there are 5 deceitful points that you are saying to the public repeatedly. If it’s the truth as you claim, then the People of AP want your boss Mr. Modi to ANNOUNCE these topics as part of the joint agenda of the BJP-TDP-JSP alliance,” they said.

“If Mr Modi fails to clarify these issues, then it’s proven that you are a hypocritical and unprincipled illusionist whose promises are as unreliable and two-faced as his politics,” the YSRCP leaders said.

The deceitful 5 points highlighted in their tweets are,

1. NDA alliance in AP will not remove the 4% reservation for Muslims under the OBC quota

2. NDA alliance will not privatise the Vizag Steel Plant

3. CAA NRC in its current form will not be implemented and Muslims will be included

4. Andhra Pradesh will get the special status by PM Modi due to your alliance with BJP

5. You will repeal the Land Titling Act as promised in your manifesto, by directly disregarding the Central Government guidelines that led to formation of this Act

The problem with special status is article 370. They said in 2018/2019 itself that they cannot call any state as special status because article 370 revocation was in BJP plan even before 2019 elections.

For BJP, they should prefer to have alliance with YCP because he is more controllable than TDP.

The only reason he can never go to jail is because BJP needs to put TDP in control. In terms of policies, BJP is more similar to TDP than YCP. But BJP can only play their religion cards to wipe out YCP only after TDP is completely wiped out. They are playing with same story as with Tamil Nadu, alliance with AIDMK first, wipe out AIDMK and target to wipe out DMK. Same with AP with alliance. YCP is an easier target for BJP to wipe out than TDP, but they won't wipe out YCP unless TDP is wiped out.
