You have to blame both Social Media and public as well for these kind of thumbnail. These thumbnail's catch public attention. and SM channels wants views to make money. Its kind of their marketing strategy. 

abt 20-25 yrs back we all saw how these refined oil companies portrait traditional oils like Palm Oil and peanut oil as causes for heart problems and how their oils are good. People just bought them based on marketing. 20 yrs fast forward, research has shown traditional oils to be better. ...
