Roja’s objections about Nandi awards function

Roja who is known for making controversial statements has commented on the way Nandi awards function was conducted. She accused YSR of making it a public function of Congress Party. She said that only top heroes were given awards by YSR and they made remaining award winners feel as worthless. She questioned why Nagarjuna suddenly started recommending the schemes of Government in the TV commercials. She accused that Nagarjuna is being forced to do so by government so that government could regularize the Annapurna 7 acres. She also questioned why only Krishna and Ambarish were asked to speak and why other NTR award winners Ilayaraja and Waheeda Rehman weren’t invited to speak. She also questioned the way protocol was violated by government by asking the award winners Nagarjuna and Rama Naidu to give away Nandi awards to the other winners. She asked why ministers like Shabbir Ali were made to stand on the dais without giving them any seat to sit.
