very good and its kernel is free and oracle also coming with Bundle package with Linux.Per hour depends on experience and company.

Good , always you can find job even in recession. Very long term projects once if you are into support -- Advantages

isadvantages -- Old technology , dont expect more than 60/hr on w2  even after 10 yrs of real time exp.
