A lot of us believe that we are immune to the effects of HIV, but a lot of times, we are faced with it indirectly. Regardless of what profession we are in, we will have to come face to face with this epidemic, whether it's actually meeting patients to discussing it intellectually. And its important to have a good understanding of the topic and its important to understand the STIGMA towards HIV.
