Crooner, music director and a stage performer who thrills audiences to bits.

That's Devisri Prasad for you, a complete entertainer who has just finished his work, composing music for all the eight songs in the film ‘Oosaravelli', starring NTR.

The audio of the film that is all set to hit the screens on October 6 is chilled out and his head is already buzzing with the notes for his future projects that include movies that have a stylish Nagarjuna, ‘Powerstar' Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun essaying the lead roles, not to talk of another venture with Surya as the hero.

Ask him about the USP of his music for ‘Oosaravelli' and he shrugs his shoulders, giving off a disarming style initially.

Prod him gently and he comes out with the line that the audio track of the movie is completely in sync with the script and the screenplay and that every song is like ‘absolutely essential'. Draw him out more and he adds that film's music is ‘emotionally-driven, non-jarring and groovy.'

DSP, as he is popular, is quite unlike the stereotype music director whose fingers keep flying over the easy-to-carry electronic keyboards these days, closeted in an air-conditioned room with the director.

Ask him what he liked best all through his work in this film and pat comes the reply, “NTR Jr is amazing, down-to-earth and loads of fun to work with and I cherish the compliment that he gave me, for my dancing skills.”

With ‘Oosaravelli' over, DSP is busy with three films - ‘Gabbar Singh' starring Pawan Kalyan, ‘Damarukam' with Akkineni ‘Nag' Nagarjuna, with Allu ‘Bunny' Arjun in an untitled production and scoring the music for a Tamil film that has Surya in the lead role.

He recently acted, rather danced, to a song with a sizzling Sameera Reddy in a film directed by Prabhu Deva. Well, people do know he has appeared briefly with our very own megastar Chiranjeevi in a film.

Doesn't he want to be a ‘hero', especially considering the fact that several people, including the likes of Surya have said that he has it in him to be a lead star ? “ Well, I wish to be known as a complete entertainer.

For ever going live on stage, to make the audience come alive,” he quips, signing off.
