[b]1)[/b] [b][u]Job Description - Data Warehouse Developer[/u][/b]
[b]Skills, Knowledge and abilities:[/b]
· BS degree in MIS/Computer Science or equivalent experience is required
· 5 years work experience in information technology is required with minimum 3 years of Teradata experience

[u]Required Experience with:[/u]
· Design, development and support of Teradata data warehouses
· Teradata relational database (strong)
· Teradata utilities such as FastLoad, MultiLoad, BTEQ, OleLoad, and TPump
· Teradata SQL Assistant skills (strong)
· ETL processes
· Interacting with Business Users and other technical staff to identify requirements and design processes
· UNIX Script writing

[u]Preferred Experience with:[/u]
· Designing a 3rd Normal Form data model (not a Star Schema)
· ERwin data modeling or similar tool
· IBM’s ETL tool set (Data Stage / Quality Stage)
· Other relational database technologies such as Oracle
· Moving data from Oracle to Teradata is a plus
· Business Objects, Crystal Reports or Hummingbird/OpenText BI Query
· Health and Human Services and/or health care related working with Claims Records
· Government System (State, Federal)
· Performance Tuning in a Teradata environment
[b]Tasks:[/b]
· Work comfortably with both technical and business users at all levels
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Assist in the design, development, and implementation of additional data sources and data elements into the existing Enterprise Data Warehouse
· Participate in Data Modeling sessions, make changes per the Project DBA
· Participate in JAD Sessions and other formal and informal discovery sessions with users and customer IT personnel to identify requirements and develop design specifications for data warehouse projects and corresponding applications
· Design/Develop logical (using CA Associates Erwin Data Modeler), physical (Teradata) and semantic data models (OpenText BI Query, Business Objects)
· Participate in change control, problem management, and communication among associated team members
· Design, develop, test and implement programs, UNIX scripts and processes to extract, transform, clean and load data from source systems into the data warehouse
· Develop, test and implement reports using Hummingbird BI, Business Objects, Crystal Reports
· Provide implementation recommendations, work plans, and estimated hours and time frame estimates
· Participate in processes to ensure a consistent, well-managed, and integrated data warehouse infrastructure
· Work in a team environment with other Ingenix team members and the customer user and IT personnel

[b]Skills:[/b]
· 2 years web application development using Microsoft [url="https://remote.atgcorp.com/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://ASP.net"]ASP.net[/url] 2.0 or 3.5 is required.
· 2 Years SQL development using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 including TSQL and Stored Procedures is required.
· Team web development experience using version control software is required.
· Web application development AJAX controls is preferred.
· Experience in JavaScript programming in [url="https://remote.atgcorp.com/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://ASP.net"]ASP.net[/url] is preferred.
· SQL Development using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 including TSQL and Stored Procedures is preferred.
· Experience in Crystal Reporting or SQL Server Reporting Services is preferred.
· Team experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server is preferred.
· Experience in using tools for web prototyping is preferred.
· Experience in using Protoshare web prototyping tool is preferred.
· Experience in Agile Development methodology is preferred.
· Experience in the Health Care Industry is preferred.
· Experience in State Government is preferred.
· Experience in Teradata SQL and data warehousing (optional, but helpful to know)
[b]Tasks:[/b]
· Work as a team with other developers to produce Web applications.
· Learn and understand the client's business process.
· Develop and maintain system source code using [url="https://remote.atgcorp.com/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://ASP.net"]ASP.net[/url] to produce Web applications.
· Follow State procedures and development coding standards when developing code.
· Participate in discussions to document and recommend alternative solutions or application requirements for assigned projects.
· Assist in preparing presentation materials for technical review meetings, approval sessions, and application demonstrations.
· Assist with preparation of help documents and procedure manuals affiliated with assigned projects.
· Participate in Requirements and Functional Design sessions with business analyst, technical and business subject matter experts.
· Participate in completion of technical documentation for Requirements, Functional Design, including as is or to be process flows, screen mock ups and use cases.
