For example, in my source database, it is defined the date as varchar(20) , so the date look like this "06/12/2008". When you transform the date into DB2 format in parallel job in datastage, then I need to specific what is my input date format, for example, stringtodate(06/12/2008, "%dd/%mm/%yyyy").
