Hyderabad, Jan 30: The CBI has informed the special court here that the Jagati Publications Vice Chairman has not divulged any information, though they had questioned him for 32 times.

The court heard the arguments on CBI’s request for permission to make Vijaya Sai Reddy, arrested in the illegal assets case of the YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, undergo narco analysis tests. The demand of the CBI was stoutly opposed by Sushil Kumar, counsel of Vijaya Sai Reddy. Arguing that narco analysis tests were against the law and individual’s freedom, the counsel of the accused has said there was no need for such tests as his client had cooperated with the CBI and gave all the information that had sought. The counsel has also reminded the prosecutors that the Supreme Court has ruled that information gathered through narco analysis tests could not be considered as evidence in any court of law.

The CBI on its part told the court that the test was needed as they could not get an iota of useful information, despite questioning him for over 300 hours.

Arguments of both sides were completed on Monday and the court has reserved its decision to February 2.

Meanwhile, the anticipatory bail petition of Ranga Rao of stylish homes has also come up before the court on Monday. Further consideration of the petition was posted to Wednesday. The CBI has interrogated Sunil Reddy, close associate of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for the third day on Monday.
