You really have the fire and spark in you bayya..

One answer for all your questions is [b]Karma[/b]... good Karma..bad karma..
After millions and millions of births one will attain the Human form of life..So we have an enternal soul that carries our body over lifetimes..The cycle of birth/oldage/disease/dead will continue until we really find who we are..we always identify ourselves with this body which is temporary. Human form is valuable..coz we have that intelligence to find him and go back to him...

I know people who does such austerities..
