Before reading my comments, please mind the fact that I am an Indian but a kinda critical and anti-establishment type. Please bear with me:

* The number of companies listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, at more than 6,000, is second only to NYSE.

* Four out of 10 Silicon Valley startups are run by Indians.
[b]That was way back in 2001. Not sure now.[/b]

[b]Yes, except in numbers, there is no match between Hollywood and any of the remaining woods of the world.[/b]

* The organized lottery market in India is US$7bn (2% of GDP)
[b]Thats a disaster if its true![/b]

* India consumes a fifth of the world’s gold output.
[b]Something to cheer about even though it means importing a lot of Gold (Yes India is no longer a producer of Gold, it just imports even for domestic needs which puts heavu pressure on Indian Curreny)[/b]

* Indians account for 45% of H1-B visas issued by the US every year.
[b]Slavery in another form, earlier British used us as slaves at their will and now we are doing it by choice.[/b]
