I have been following the posts in this forum with enthusiasm. But the recent post on "Disquiet & Apprehensions" has really brought tears in my eyes. I am really moved by the love & affection of our fellow brothers who have shown such a concern for hyderabadis.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Sriram. I am born in Kakinada, East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh (a pucca andhraite). Brought up in Calcutta right from my childhood till my schooling. Graduation & PG from Hyderabad. Finally settled in Hyderabad for the past 20 years. Also owning a house at Hyd. So, i am born in Andhra, brought up in West Bengal and settled in Hyd.

Like Chandra, i too had certain apprehensions regarding the security. But thanks to this forum for dispelling all the doubts.

But this assurance needs to be circulated and needs major attention in Hyderabad. I advice you brothers to emphasize this aspect and advice the OU JAC, KU JAC, all others who are involved in Telangana udyamam to give assurance openly. Because, i have seen many settlers in Hyd. expressing this fear.

Please copy & paste this mail in Telangana forum so that our follow brothers would also respond to this.

Last but not the least, i too would join Telangana Movement and support Telangana.

Ne saitam prapancha agni ki ahutai samidhani avutanu....

I truly appreciate Venkat for writing a moving mail to me. I am sharing it with the group. Whatever you might think of Telangana people, there is always one more side to learn from this land, even to me. I emphasize Telangana heritage brought up by Buddhist beginnings (Acharya Nagarjuna et al.,) and nurtured under Sufi teachings -- re: Abul Hasanat Sayyid Abdullah Shah Naqshbandi Qadiri -- I am spell bound under such impressions of peace and love for the humankind.

Hyderabad as center of Telangana will be a peace center for South India. Andhras are welcomed as well as anyone in the world.

I will take your advise to other agitating groups -- and may be you could support Telangana cause and its fight for self-respct & self reliance with the same vigor as some of our native sons.
