Trs Celebrating Eleventh Anniversary. Huge Public Meeting In Vikarabad

Telangana Rastra Samithi is celebrating its eleventh anniversary today. Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, abbreviated as KCR, Member of Parliament is the founder of TRS party in 2001. TRS party was formed with the only agenda to achieve a separate region of Telangana from the state of Andhra Pradesh. Telangana agitation didn’t start after or during the formation of TRS party. Telangana was a separate state before 1956 which was later merged into Andhra Region to form Andhra Pradesh. KCR went into public with a single point agenda that brought a huge fan following making him the star of Telangana.

TRS party struggled hard to prove its presence in State Assembly as well as Delhi Parliament. With the support of over four and a half crore people, the party recently tasted a huge victory by winning 4 out of 5 seats in By-elections last month. TRS announced that they are thankful to the people of Telangana who proved once again by voting TRS that the dream of Telangana people is to get back the power from Seema Andhra leaders.

On the occasion of its 11th Anniversary, TRS is going to conduct a huge public meeting in Vikarabad, which is all decorated in Pink (TRS party color). The meeting will be about the achievements of TRS party in the past 11 years, their strategies, future agitations to bring pressure on the government to take a decision and initiate Telangana Bill soon. All the party delegates, MLAs, MPs, party workers and the entire cadre from 119 constituencies of Telangana around 20,000 are expected to be attending the meeting today.

Kalvakuntla Rama Rao, alias KTR, son of KCR who is a member of Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh told in his quick interview that “Achieving Telangana, eleven years back was a night mare and today it is a powerful moment. There are no News channels or print media without ‘Telangana’ word today. The main achievement of TRS party in these 11 years is to make every leader of all the parties including Congress, BJP, TDP, CPI(M) in the T-region to participate in the Telangana moment. TRS succeeded a lot in these past 11 years and now we are in the final stage of achieving Telangana soon. So, we are focusing more on these coming 11 months. KCR and many other leaders of TRS will announce and the future strategies to pressurize the Government.”
