Bhanu Shifted To Osmania Hospital

Hyderabad, April 27: Bhanu Kiran, the principal accused in the factionist Maddelacheruvu Suri murder case, was indisposed on Friday morning.

The CID officials shifted the accused to the Osmania General Hospital immediately. After obtaining court permission for custody, the CID sleuths started interrogating him since Wednesday. Apart from the murder of Suri, the sleuths were eliciting information from Bhanu Kiran about land grabbing cases, settlements, criminal intimidation and other charges against the accused.

During interrogation, it is learnt that Bhanu Kiran blurted out facts to the sleuths on Wednesday and Thursday. The CID officials reportedly discovered the fact that Bhanu Kiran, along with several prominent persons, resorted to settlements. On the basis of Bhanu Kiran’s confessions, the CID sleuths are reportedly preparing a list of crimes committed by him.

It may be mentioned here that the trial court had given nine-day custody of the accused to the CID police for interrogation.
