Roughly 60 per cent of the families in and around Dhoolpet are still believed to be actively carrying on with ID liquor brewing.[/font][/color][color=#3B3A39][font=Georgia,]
The past 10 years had seen hectic efforts by the administration to offer rehabilitation or alternative livelihood packages for families involved in manufacturing of illicit liquor. But in reality not more than 10 per cent of families, identified as eligible for assistance under various schemes, have benefitted through it.[/font][/color]
