Congress MP Lagadapati Raja Gopal had made sensational allegations on YS Jagan. He alleged that YS Jagan had blackmailed film director Ram Gopal Varma to remove the scenes involving his character in Rakta Charitra. Jagan reportedly threatened him to remove the scenes or get ready to face the consequences.

Rakta Charitra is a movie made by RGV on the faction history of Paritala Ravi and the incidents that led to his death.

Ram Gopal Varma had confirmed that Raja Gopal is right and said a man very close to Jagan had conveyed the message to him
