Ms Sql Server Technology Discussions

DBA's need some advice . C drive on my SQL server is almost full
C drive is 64 Gb ( in that pagefile.Sys is occupying 32 Gb , Any idea how to handle this ?

never tried, but read there is a turn around to do that... direct ga aitey not possible...

ivi rendu naaku telusu mama.....naa requirement diff which is to deal with rows and not columns

nenu intha mundu cheppinattu...when I load data from a file to a database...cant I eliminate records that I don't want in a text fle before loading them into database? sCo_^Y

no idea.. SSIS lo you can I believe, BULK Import lo no idea...

@above all,

intaku mundu evaro asked regarding transactions in SSIS. This is how we do it.

First enable MSDTC in services or else you cannot do it.
Then go to properties of each data flow task or package level and change the Transaction Properties to Required.
And there you go, you have enabled transactions in your dataload package which rollsback automatically if anything went wrong.

computer -> properties -> advanced settings ->performance ki velli automatic manage page file settings ni uncheck chesi select the size u want..
this shd help .. also how to manage virtual page file size midha articles untayi go through..

anni packages ki maarchi teeralsindey. package creation appudey cheyyalsinaa pani idi. Development ayyaka chestey kashtam avtundi manual ga no. of packages ki maarachaali
