Dhanush and Amala Paul starred Velai Illa Pattathari is cinematographer Vetri's maiden directorial venture. Dhanush's Wunderbar Films produced Velai Illa Pattathari music composed by Anirudh Ravichander released on Valentines day

Velai Illa Pattathari is an electrifying number among VIP songs. Anirudh's vocals are the highlight of the song that rightly delivers the emotions of todays unemployed youngsters and would aptly reach audiences with Dhanush's emotions on-screen.

 

Amma Amma is the longest song in VIP audio album befittingly sung by Dhanush and significantly supported by veteran singer S. Janaki in the third stanza. Violin plays a special role in the song and with Piano beats it sets the right mood. Janaki Amma as everyone calls her proves she is apt both for title and the song. Chorus by the end of first half is pleasant.
