nanibabu Posted January 10, 2009 Report Share Posted January 10, 2009 The ace comedian of movies like ‘Shankar Dada MBBS’, ‘Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila’ and ‘Kuberulu’, M. Rammurthy breathed his last on the wee hours of Wednesday, on 7th January. The 55 year old actor demised due to a sudden cardiac arrest when he was at his home in Valmikinagar, West Marredpally. ‘Anji’ was his debut movie of yester year and he carved a niche by being in the industry for a long time. He also contested in the 1999 general elections as an independent candidate and earned his deposit back. He was moved to the hospital for treatment after the initial attack in the wee hour. But, he was unable to recover and breathed his last while treatment was undergoing at Gandhi Hospital. The last rites were performed on Thursday at Bansilalpet crematory. Hero Dr Srihari, Sec'bad MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Bowenpally Market-yard Chairman Muppidi Gopal, Samala Sattireddy, and other personalities from film fraternity paid their homage.
