Original copy is no longer required. recently my employer told me about this. Because petition approval is now verified in the department of state system called petition information management service (PIMS).

POE is in JFK for my flight EY103.. Immigration check is in AbuDhabi for mornign flights(Mine was evening in Abu Dhabi)

 

 

Fortunately My Immigration Officer is not concerned about original i797...  Surprisingly he didnt ask for approval copy.. safely landed in JFk.. thanks for your help
