bio
I believe its called regurgitation, it has something to do with acidic reflux in Gastro-intestinal-tract., am not sure about the exact cause, but in simpler terms consuming hyper acidic foods such as excessive hot beverages (tea n coffee), smoking, drinking..eating too much spicy hot foods might be the issue. am not a doc as well, suggest ur friend to consult a doc. Oceanray
Kadu bhayya...maa roomate vadu anantapoor vadu.... He has some problem...After eating food heavily he is getting some of it back to mouth...nothing hurting him... I remember my baamma calling that as pukkillu...and I remember she was telling that will eventually hurts throught.. I am asking him to go and have check up...but we both don't know how doctors call it Its called GERD or simply acid reflux. Im suffering from this from the past one year. Tell him to see a GI doctor immediately. If neglected it leads to severe discomfort. Some lifestyle changes are to be taken care of especially in eating and sleeping habits. Do's and Don'ts: 1. Stop drinking caffeined drinks like tea, coffee, soda so forth. 2. Avoid spicy foods, citurs fruits and juices, chocolates, tomotoes, peppermint, pepper. 3. If he smokes and drinks alcohol then tell him to stop immediately. 4. Do not sleep or lay down immediately after eating. 5. Elevate your head of the bed. 6. Drink buttermilk without salt on empty stomach (It really helped me alot). 7. Eat small portions of food include more whole grains. 8. Avoid Gluten rich and Lactose foods. 9. Drink lactose free cold milk. 10. Lose weight. (if overweight). 11. Do some physical exercise like walking and yoga. 12. Sleep atleast for 6-8 hours. 13. Don't take stress. Try to relieve stress levels. 14. Don't use pain medications. Try to avoid or lessen the use. 15. Chew food thoroughly before swallowing.
