Can We Book Visa Appointment Without Submitting Ds 160?

Hi...I am planning to book a visa appointment date. I started my DS 160 application(filled half)  but I am stuck at few questions and did not submit the application yet.

 

In the mean time can I pay my visa fees and book a slot?

Later Can I complete my existing Ds 160 and submit?

If not what would my options?

u cant goto mexico if its ur first time stamping....u can go there for 2nd stamping once u already got stanped once

1. nope. you can never go to mexico for H1 visa stamping. you came to US on F1 so you are allowed to mexico for F1 renewal but not H1 Renewal. so you need to go other country.

 

2. Yes you can submit, book date, then edit details before 3 or 4 days i guess. safe side one week before my suggestion.
