If singapore is NOT doing any favour,teh government should have called for a global tender..and many of the international firms and government who are more experienced whould have participated and would got a better deal and chance negotiate better !

 

Singapore has been the fastest developed country in the world.. started with nothing... Just 30 yrs lo...they are here...

Singpore has grown becuase of the stratagic location and the liberal governments compared to neighbouring countries..and most of the western business (financial compnaies) have set up bases as it is located near to china ,Japan and other asian countries ..and moreover the population is just 50 lakhs.Sinapore is business /financial center and there is no manufacturing or agriculture.Singpore even imports drinking water from Malaysia !

 

For example:10 years back there is nothing in gachibowli and now the per captia income of that area will be around Rs 2 lakhs..then shall we able replicate the same through out India and make every area the same ???It just can't be done
