దివంగత ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్ రాజశేఖరరెడ్డి హయాంలో కొన్ని సేవలు అద్భుతమని తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్ కొనియాడారు. ముఖ్యంగా, 108 అంబులెన్స్ సేవలు పట్టణ, గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లోని ఎంతో మంది ప్రాణాలను కాపాడాయని నేటి అసెంబ్లీ సెషన్ లో ఆయన వైఎస్ఆర్ ను గుర్తు చేసుకున్నారు.
ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రం ఏర్పడక ముందు, తాను ఒకసారి పరకాల వెళుతుండగా, రోడ్డు ప్రమాదంలో ఓ మనిషి చావుబతుకుల మధ్య ఉండడంతో, తాను కారు దిగానని, అక్కడున్న పిల్లలు "ఏం ఫర్వాలేదు, 10 నిమిషాల్లో 108 వస్తుంది" అని చెప్పారని కేసీఆర్ సభకు వివరించారు. జనంలో '108' పట్ల ఉన్న విశ్వాసాన్ని చూసి తాను ఆశ్చర్యపోయానని ఆయన చెప్పారు.
