Deported: So far, our students are not deported. They are just denied entry to USA. Difference: Deportation : Person living in USA, sent bacck to their homeland. Denial: Passenger sent back without allowing them to enter USA. Deportation makes the person ineligible to enter USA for 3/5/10 years. Depends on reasons. Denial : Applicant can apply for visa again. Visa: Visa just allows to board international flight, Land in USA. Immigration: Inspection on arrival to their country. Though visa is approved, Immigration also acts as an other visa interview and they have right to deny. Defer is to postpone or delay. Where differ means different,unlike. Acceptance letter is different and i20 is different. Acceptance is like an offer letter and I20 is a document only used for visa interview and travel. Part time jobs: Two types. ON campus ,totally legal if approved by University. Off campus: Illegal to do. Ok , if Univ allows you to do. Please use these words only if you're aware of their meaning. In US, Mail indicates hard copy. courier but not email. CPT is not a working permission. Its an internship or practical experience to work on your course in MS.
