Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is learnt to have acknowledged Tollywood’s Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s solicitation to bolster foundation of a film studio on the city edges.

Chiranjeevi asked for KCR government’s help for the setting up of the studio amid their meeting at the inaugural service of Balakrishna’s 100th film Gautami Putrasatakarni in the city recently.

Sources said that Chiranjeevi revealed enthusiasm to set up a film studio for the sake of his surname “Konidela” in the city. He looked for government’s backing for the proposed project.
