Srimanthudu and Baahubali were to conflict at box office, last year. In any case, the makers of the Mahesh Babu starrer had postponed their movie for very nearly a month days as to give greatest number of theaters to SS Rajamouli directed movie. Fortuitously, both the films were blockbusters at box office.

It is heard that, the creators of Mahesh Babu’s film with AR Murugadoss are planning to release their movie on April 28th, only two weeks after the showy excursion of Baahubali 2. It is a common knowledge that, the second installment of Baahubali franchise is hitting the big screens on April 14, 2017.
