Load/performance Test question

Guys,

We are trying to test our application for endurance test, any inputs are welcome.

The scenario: Approximate #of users /peak hour 10, and the approximate # of users executing the scenario 7200, So a total of 72000 iteration in a peak hour.

For this scenario, how many user accounts are needed to test ?(not the virtual users, we can simulate these based on the real user accounts.)

we dont know how the performance test works. The above scenarios has been handed over to a performance test team.

They are requesting unique accounts. Anduke doubt vachindi? enni user accounts ivvali vaallaki ani. Vaallu virtual user generate chestaaru, but aa virtual users ki same account untundaa? leka each virtaul user ki unique account untunda??

It's all depends on type of functionality you are doing..for example take search ..you can use with limited userids also no issues but user based data dependent scenarios we need to prepare data ..like voting ..1 person one time so you need 7200*no of iterations*no of times( peak hour/endurance) ids

generally endurance test will run with ~ 30-50% of peak load to identify memory leaks

Assume the virtual user as a normal user. Depends on the type of functionality, assigning of  user account depends untadhi. If functionality allows multiple users to login with same user id, then fine. Otherwise if the functionality allows only 1 user login per user, then they may need unique accounts

unique accounts is always preferable to mimic real time scenarios.. Endurance test antunnav kabbatiii oka 4000 unique users tho manage cheyyamanu.... also make sure cache should delete after each round..
