Required Job Qualifications
• 3 or more years in Unix systems engineering with experience in Red Hat Linux, Centos or Ubuntu.
• 9 months+ Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible
• Experience with building CD/CI automation Build/deployment/Integration pipelines with Jenkins etc.
• Ability to architect, design and implement solutions with AWS Virtual Private Cloud, Elastic Compute Cloud, AWS Cloud Formation, Auto Scaling, AWS Simple Storage Service, Route 53 and other AWS products.
• Solid Software Engineering and Agile/Scrum Development background.

Scope and Responsibilities:
As a Agile Tools Engineer you will work with a fast-paced, dynamic team ensuring the tools related to agile development operate efficiently and effectively for the development teams. You will be part of the effort to establish and drive standards and procedures for tools. You will help to evangelize the existing tools and ensure teams are trained on the tools. You will help identify opportunities for new tool implementations and extensions and gather requirements for new tool intake. You will then help in the implementation of new tools and ensure the stakeholders are using them properly. You will help develop and maintain documentation detailing each tool and any associated training for the tools.

Experience Required:

• Intelligence, strong problem-solving ability, and a general passion for platform management and user enablement.

Desired Skills :

• Direct experience with a workflow orchestration tool is a huge plus – Airflow (preferred), Amazon Data Pipeline, Luigi, Oozie, etc.

• Direct experience with a job submission/abstraction engine, notably Netflix Genie, is another huge plus.

• Significant experience with CI/CD processes and configuration using common industry tools (Jenkins, Travis, Go, etc) is very desirable.

• Significant experience with a major configuration management tool (Chef, Ansible, Puppet) used in a cloud environment is very desirable.
