It's still not too late bro. Manaki India lo alanti mentality common right, ikkadochaka since we have learned to look at things differently it's not a bad option to go and do that.

Maa relatives iddaru brothers naaku uncle avutharu did the same thing. Pune lo oka mechanic shop tho start chesaru back in the 80s. Baapan families telusu kadaa ela untaro andaru relatives mechanic panenti manchiga govt job or software job chesukoka annattu thakkuvaga matladaru. Today then own a few dealerships there and are rich beyond anyone's expectations. Plus baaga chill ga untaru kooda since they came from bare bottom. It's never too late to change tracks if you are passionate.

The founder of Honda, Soichiro Honda started out as a bike mechanic before setting up his own car repair business.

From wiki "At 15, without any formal education, Honda left home and headed to Tokyo to look for work. He obtained an apprenticeship at a garage in 1922, and after some hesitation over his employment, he stayed for six years, working as a car mechanic before returning home to start his own auto repair business in 1928 at the age of 22."
