I find GoT quite impressive.

I find the scale and production values impressive too. Just its politics, and plot is too pedestrian for me.

I've read better fantasy books than GoT. books that truly dvelve into human psyche, especially of people who hold power, rather than the resorting to quick fix resolutions like killing this and that character for shock value that GoT indulges in.
