insurance enduku cover avvadhu adhi cheppu first..

even if your insurance doesn't cover the lab test, labcorp will submit the bill to the insurance and the insurance will have allowed amounts..

for example if lab corp bills $200 to insurance, then insurance will only allow certain amount as per the agreement with labcorp on the rates for all lab services..

so the allowed amount for thyroid can be $60 as per the agreement btween insruace and labcorp.

since you are saying insurance is not covered, so you have to pay $60 from your pocket.Incase insurance is covered, then insurance must have paid that $60. that is the only difference.

just call your insurance and check if labcorp is within your insurance network.

call the insurace and check if labcorp is in netwrk.

as i said earlier, there will be allowed expenses..worst case you only pay the allowed amount..

as far as I know thyroid shoudl be dne every 3 months.you shouldn;'t stop the medication..

the accpeted level should be between >2.5 to <4.5.. the dosage will be changed on whate level of throid comes in the test
