Songs bagunnay... neat ga undi entertaining .. of course routine storyline and rotta stuff.. but these days offer undani cinema ki poye janalu ekkuvunna rojullo after all the stress they need movies like this... so undoubtedly hit avuthadi.. atleast attracts many people.

 

JLK--Just average--Hit

JLK songs bagunnay... overall oka commercial entertainer ki kavalsina anni qualifications unnay... so it definitely attracts certain section of audience...

 

Nenu Local--Worst Movie--Hit

Mahanubhavudu ki cheppinavi deeniki kuda varthistundi... just a stress buster for audience... anthey...

 

We deserve bad movies ani anipisthu untundi

we dont have time/patience to enjoy art... we need only stress busters... most of the time...

commercial cinema lo 'art' gurinchi maatladaku saami. All movies try to manipulate human emotions. Vaadu good movies ani cheppindi vaadiki nachindi, anthey. 

'art' is not the right word for it.

Telugollu maatram kaadhu evaru ishta padaru, except  people who immerse themselves in it.

all movies are commercial, but they manipulate different emotions. telugu movies manipulate only one emotion (eg. whatever it was that nenu local aimed for). anthey.

art movies are not made in any language for wide release.

There are several kinds of art movies too. one's that focus on character study, ones that are visual, etc. 

Even David Lynch movies cannot be considered as art house.

When you are watching a English movie in theatre, you pretty much get same experience like you are watching it alone at home. It can not be the same for Telugu movies.

Fewer distractions from the main plot line is the main reason for that bro. In telugu movies there are too many distractions from the plot line in the form of songs, forced humor etc most of which is rather unnecessary

English movie a la carte lantidi, genre is like the entrée you order. 

Telugu movie is like our weekend desi buffet that has a bit of everything. At the of the day leaves you unsatisfied because you couldn't focus on eating one item that you love
