I know...worst part is even women are no exception as they are ok with their sons and brothers showing this kind of attitude but they are not ok when their husbands do the same..before blaming any man, women need to stand for other women..

Mostly tax benefits. And also if you own a household I guess you can save on some taxes if you are a married couple vs two people being joint owners of the property.
