Controversial film critic Kathi Mahesh on Sunday came up with a six-point questionnaire targetting Pawan Kalyan and Poonam Kaur, seeking to expose their alleged affair.

His questions evoked a lot of criticism against him, as he targeted Poonam’s personal life. Yet, he stood by his questions and said he had answers to all of them and that he would disclose them at an appropriate time.

Neither Pawan nor Poonam reacted on these questions, but Pawan’s fans came up with an explanation that explains the answers to the questions raised by Kathi Mahesh.

According to them, Poonam had faced a tough situation during her early days of career in Telugu film industry.

She was originally chosen for the role of Nandu (which was played by Kamalini Mukherjee) in Pawan Kalyan’s super hit film “Jalsa.”

It was actually a big offer for Poonam, who was just getting recognition in the film industry. Though she had no clarity about adjusting her dates those days,  she gave up all the offers for the sake of Nandu’s role in Jalsa.

It was during those days that Poonam was present along with Pawan in the pujas made for the film. Subsequently, for some reasons, director Trivikram Srinivas dropped Poonam and replaced her with Kamalini Mukherjee.

“This is very common phenomenon in the film industry, but Poonam took it to her heart and developed grouse against Trivikram since then, as she felt he was responsible for the fall of her career graph,” the statement said.

It was true that Poonam had attempted suicide, as she was unable to bear the collapse of her career all of a sudden.

When Pawan Kalyan came to know about it, he called on her and consoled her. He thought he too had some role in bringing Poonam to this stage. He paid the hospital bill on humanitarian grounds.

Pawan also met her mother only to assure that he would extend maximum help to Poonam to see that her career would pick up again and she would get a respectable position in the society.

“It was true that Pawan Kalyan had recommended to the Andhra Pradesh government, when it was looking for a brand ambassador for its handlooms sector. What is wrong in it?” Pawan’s fans questioned.

They said the statement had all the queries raised by Kathi Mahesh.

“Well, Poonam might respond to his queries, but tomorrow somebody else would raise similar questions on Kajal and Samantha and demand answers.

How can they give answers to every Tom, Dick and Harry? Now tell us, did Pawan Kalyam commit any mistake? How can we not respect him?” they asked and added that the people should know the truth before they sling mud at Pawan.
