lol. manam north gurinchi maatladthunnam brother. misuse anni chotala undhi.

ofcourse all schemes are implemented by giving local officers the authority and responsibility for the implementation.

but nuvvu cheppey ee decentralization endhi? state govt budget lo oka pani ki intha ani cheppi, ventaney icheyaala aa body ki aa amount?

adhi jaragadu. state govt still retains the right to prioritize its spending, except in some areas where the system works as a well oiled machine.. like midday meals, health insurance for poor, or some freebie like giving a poor person a goat (like in TN)..

south is successful not because of its cities. but because how its rural and semi urban centers are comparatively better.

because lets be honest, there's no city in India that can hold a candle to the economic might of Delhi/Mumbai. none of the southern cities will ever come close to them.

for example, one cannot discount the fact that panchama lands that were owed to dalits were either not distributed, or stolen after being distributed by the govt.

its true of all states, except perhaps Kerala to an extent, and UP during mayawati govt.

how do you think decentralization will solve this? or any other problem where dalits have to depend on local caste lords for the services due to them?

the same people turn around and say 'reservation' blah blah.. without a hint of shame.

centralized systems on stuff like this, definitely benefits its delivery better.

ganga unnadi UP lo... godavari unnadu maharastra ts and ap lo.. aa rendu etla link chestharu.... i see atleast 1500kms gap in between them... idi nijam ga unna proposal aa leka idi kooda biryani lo aalu gaddalu, turo lo car lu renti ki ichudu and dongathanam ga pakkodi insurance lu claim cheyyadam lanti nee concept aa

@chittimallu2  Yes. Ganges and Godavari has atleast 1500 km's between them but in between ganges plains and godavari, there are two mighty rovers which flow in opposite direction to each other...one is Narmada and other is Mahanadi...

Indira Sagar on Narmada and Hirakud Dam on Mahanadi are built on either side and present plan is to connect Ganges to narmada and mahanadi and from there, divert to godavari through chattishgarh...this completes a major part of river linking project.

These are one of the main reason for developing Indira Sagar in Madhya Pradesh and Hirakud in Orissa. together in between them, the capity is upto 10,000 TMC to store and divert and no need to build additional canals as narmada and mahanadi passes thorugh two mountain ranges just like Krishna and Unline Godavari.

Agreed man, dams must be destroyed first and when we have unlimited all round supply of water , we do not need damsn anymore andonly Himayalan rivers can assure you that...nor perennial rivers.

poni nuvvu cheppu vayya. decentralized antey endhi ani. what do you expect from decentralization ani.

nuvvu cheppey decentralization already is in practice.

do you want local bodies to have the power to put more taxes on its wards? because that is the next level of decentralization.
