linux lo oka directory mounting update chestey, migathivi affect avutaya? if we dont restart after change

Directory mount update ante em update chesthunnav... previous share lo unna data ee new share lo untundha? usually mount chesina tharuvatha restart cheialsina avasaram ledhu.. but make sure you update fstab or auto.fs configuration

1)Mount cheste restart avasram vundadu.

2) if you are mounting nfs share and the same share js mounted on differnt machines yes the update will visible to all machines as it is shared mount

que nenu ardam cheskuna dani bati post chesa maybe que inka clear ga vundali

mount point change cheyali antey, through fstab cheyoccha with out restart? which scenario needs a restart to apply changes to a mounted location? 

 

long story short: okkadu , nenu mount change chesi, restart cheyaledu andukey ne directory ki data raledu antadu

autofs ithe you restart autofs service and directory may not be visible with df -h  until you ''cd'' to that directory
