I agree with this view but people are of a different nature, some are emotional, some are sensitive and some are thick skinned and others are in the middle. So expressing their emotions is a vent to their inner feelings and probably that would heal/soothe/redirect/comfort their inner conscience. Let everyone live their life the way they expect it to be and don't get trapped by their emotion to drive your conscience to choose what is not comforting to you.
