It seems TRS is down stride...when assembly was dissolved, I think TRS was in a state to get 85-100 seats.

But I see now, TRS may get 70-80 seats. I'm no political pundit but just my observation....wind is flowing the congress way all across...and may have positive effect in TG too...

Saying so, TRS will still be able to  form govt with simple majority but may not get as high number of seats as expected earlier...

one more month to go....

this is the time where things change rapidly...

Mahakutami might not have announced candidates yet but in majority of the places, candidates have been decided and they all seem to be canvassing already...

KCR yet to step in Gajwel for campaign!

KCR yet to step in Gajwel for campaign!

It has been two months since Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao dissolved the state assembly and announced the list of 105 candidates, including himself.

And it has been a month since the Election Commission announced the schedule for the December 7 assembly elections.

Even before the schedule was announced, TRS chief asked all his party candidates to go their respective constituencies and begin their campaign in the right earnest.

So, the high decibel campaign of the TRS has already started.

However, surprisingly, KCR has not stepped into his constituency Gajwel even once in the last two months, though he is contesting from there for the second successive term.

Yet, the TRS campaign in Gajwel has been going on in full swing, thanks to KCR’s nephew and irrigation minister T Harish Rao, who is virtually camping in Gajwel, ignoring canvassing in his own constituency Siddipet.

While KCR is visible in every inch of developmental works in Gajwel, physically he is still invisible to the people of his constituency.

“He has not addressed even a single meeting in Gajwel so far. He has constructed a camp office in the town, but has not come even for its inauguration.

Most of the time, he is confined to his farm house at Jagdevpur and has not been coming out of it even once.

The only time we see him is through the window panes of his car, when he travels on the highway to reach Hyderabad,” a native of Gajwel said.

Yet, majority people of Gajwel are favouring KCR as their leader, though Congress candidate Vanteru Pratap Reddy is said to be giving a tough fight to the chief minister.
