Fourth preference category (F4):  Brothers and sisters of adult U.S. citizens.  Only U.S. citizens may sponsor a brother or sister.

F4 category: 13 years for all, except it is 14 years for people born in India, 20 years for people born in Mexico, and 23 years for people born in the Philippines.

No, parents do not get citizenship when their child is born in the US. The parent cannot obtain immigration benefits through the child until the child turns 21 years old.

Ante ippudu citizen no pelli chesukunte oka 5 years padathadi and to sponsor your brother or sister another 15 years. Totally 20 years for you to get. I heard that it is taking more than 15 years.

the wait time is real.

It is determined by a complicated formula of annual quotas of all “green cards” and how a specific country has used up the quotas over years, as well as used and unused quotas in various categories.
