Writing ki pedhaga practice cheyyaledhu. only 1 time practice chesa. that too IELTS style answer sheets online lo untai. adhi print chesi andhulo rayatam practice cheyyi so that you will know the wordcount and how many lines you need to write approximately and how to manage your time. But manaku main problem with writing is, we have required vocabulary, flow of thoughts and all but since we don't write a lot on daily basis, its tough to move pencil on paper. adhe computer lo rayamante pichekkistham. i personally felt my typing speed is lot more than writing speed.

For reading and listening, youtube lo IELTS general testing videos untai.. every day oka kotha test upload chestharu vallu. try to do at least 15-20 of them and it will be very easy for you in the actual test to do reading and listening.

for listening I think you need 38 answers correct to get 8. Practise listening similar to exams style like reading questions once before the audio starts. Listening lo 3-4 questions tricky ga untayi and getting them correct makes a lot of difference in your score.

I prepared 2-3hrs a day for a week before exam and got 8 writing, 8.5 reading, 7.5 speaking and 9 listening.

Listening section 1 start aye mundu example play chestadu. Aa time lo  finish reading all section 1 (max 5) questions and you should know what kind of answer is expected for those questions. After the example they will give 30 seconds to read section 1 questions. It would be wise to use that time to the read questions in the last section. Last section lo around 10-12 questions untayi. Try to read as many questions as you can in that 30 seconds. Know what kind of answers are to be expected for those questions and keep that information back in the mind. When the test arrives section 4, then read remaining questions in that section.

 

as you progress to section 3/4, there will too much content to listen and digest. While reading multiple choice type questions, read only the questions and skip reading multiple choice answers. When the play begins, just focus on understanding the ‘“meaning” and don’t focus on the “words”.  In multiple choice answer words, there will be trap choices which has exact same words that you listened but the choice’s meaning doesn’t match . So always focus on the meaning to select the right option.  

 

Always march “meaning to meaning”  . Not “word to word” .

 

On the test date, before going to exam, try taking a practice test on YouTube. It keeps you brain active and ready for the main test.
