Is there a person at cross fit who will assess your current state of fitness before you take it up? If not, don’t do it. You have to be at certain physical condition before you do high intensity exercises. Moreover, there is no posture guide for cross fit exercises. At least at a traditional gym you can find correct posture to work out a specific muscle. 

Giving this advice because friend broke his spine doing cross fit. Tred with caution.
